I just hope the music isn't a repeat.
Checked Sang-Froid on Desura. It looks interesting, but regarding the comments it seems while it's on Desura it still needs Steam. Shad'O was also in a Indie Royale Bundle (Valentine 2.0). These would be the only two games I'm kind of interested in, but if Sang-Froid really needs steam, I'll skip it.

Edit: Ah, I see there is also an info about steam near the buy button. So yes, Sang-Froid needs steam.

"Bientôt l’été is a videogame for two players. Two players who pretend to be lovers. They pretend to be lovers separated from each other by lightyears of deep space. They have lonely walks along the shore of a simulated ocean, thinking wistful thoughts of each other. Thoughts from ancient Earth literature by Marguerite Duras. The empty beach, the strong wind, the gentle music and a small colony of electric seagulls are their only companions. Yet their heart is full and their mind confused. Walk along the shore, until they meet the emptiness. When it all becomes too much, they run towards each other. Enabled by intergalactic networks, they touch each other’s holographic bodies in cyberspace. A surreal game of chess becomes the apparatus through which they, man and woman, can talk. The words they have were given to them, as they have always been to lovers everywhere."

OMG I like an arty game now and again but this one sounds so far up its own arse it can feel itself in the back of its own throat!
Hm. I'll pass, but I will say that The Pit is definitely worth playing (even if you have no idea about SoTS).
Already have the Pit and the rest isn't really my cup of tea, so my wallet is safe ;-)
Hurm, nothing makes me want to jump at it immediately, but still looks like a bargain. Will perhaps pick up later.
Haven't even heard of the rest of the games, but I would still recommend the bundle solely because of SotS: The Pit. Great title.

Also not buying because...well, I haven't even heard of the rest of the games :P
Too bad there's no GOG key for Sword of the Stars: The Pit...
That and Tower Wars seem interesting to me. Not sure about the others...

I guess you haven't played any games by Tale of Tales before?
None of their games can be classified as "mainstream", they're all sort of experimental in an artsy kind of way.
I wish they'd do away with their silly "mystery" tactics. I'd be more likely to buy the bundle if I knew what was in it up front, and the mystery game is unlikely to be that exciting that I'll be willing to pay the higher average later on. As I don't play multiplayer games, don't like Steam exclusives, and have enough abstract flashy color indies for a lifetime already, so far I'm only interested in SotS: The Pit (presented without DLC) - and sooner or later there's bound to be a GOG promo offer with a similar price. The mystery game might have a chance of tipping the scale in favor of a purchase, but with the minimum price increasing, the chances that I'll still consider it an attractive offer when the mystery game is finally revealed are also proportionally decreasing.

I agree, I'm not a fan of the "mystery titles" either. Plus I can recall zero occasions where the mystery thingy was actually anything interesting. Just tell me what I'm gonna get with the purchase straight away, and then I'll judge if my money's worth it.
