A fully funded kickstarter game that I've been following (as I'm a big fan of FTL) just got greenlit on Steam.

The dev is now running a "Design Your Own Starship Contest"

The winner receives Alpha Access to the game, and
$50 Steam Gift Card

While I don't have the skill or tools to do design work, maybe someone here who has those interests may enjoy this contest!

I'll take a wild guess and say that this is Steam only like Terraria?

Good question. I'll have to pose this question for the developer.

EDIT: The goal is to offer it DRM-Free on the dev's website, Steam, and any other online store that picks it up!

That sounds great! Hopefully GOG doesn't reject this.

Agreed!
Alpha to be released soon. Looks like steam keys for the time being.
I checked this game a while ago, looking good.

As trentonlf mentioned, it's a different developer. However, it does draw inspiration from games like FTL, Mega Man, Starflight, and Metroid. :D
