To be fair, each Indie Gala stays around for a lot longer than HIB and IR, so its fine for them to run back-to-back.

I don't think they intended this one to be around quite this long. With the almost constant happy hours they keep running, I get the impression they originally expected it to sell much faster.

Definitely. Happy Hours everyday. Every weekend. Wow talk about flogging the crap out of it...Maybe it just wasnt as good as other bundles?.

I don't know, for me it's one of the best bundles, only surpassed by the game music bundle. I think the biggest issue is a combination of all the minor things that went wrong, like steam-only, bad customer support, unstable launch, tiered system, confusion about gala points, confusion about bundle in general, and lack of advertising outside their twitter and facebook channels (which are only followed by people who has already bought the bundle anyway).

It definitely has some great (and some not so great) games, but I think it didn't get as much publicity as the competition.

Plus the site design kinda sucks balls.

The most serious complaints I saw on the Internet were not about games (people complain about games in "almost" every bundle). What kept potential customers hesitant was the unclear purchase system (e.g. at first no one knew the prices would change over time), unclear English (not so easy to comprehend everything) on the web-site and in the messages, lack of information about WHO EXACTLY is behind the bundle. I agree with the aforementioned and think what kills Indie Gala is mostly it's organizing problems and lacks - not game selections.

Don't forget about those stupid Galapoints. What's the uh, point?!

It's a good start, as I'm curious about this game and won't buy IFK. But I hope they can gather a good selection, this alone may still not be enough if they put it on a high tier.

The only bundles I've knowingly missed have been the Difficult Second Bundle for the IndieRoyale (and have since regretted that decision immensely), the Indie Underdog Pack and the Indie Facekick. Apart from them, I've bought every bundle (Gala, Royale, Humble etc.) since HIB2.

I still ain't getting bored of them.
