johnki: What about Stalin vs Martians? I hear that one is terribad, but it just looks so funny.

Neobr10: Wasn't that game removed from all digital stores because of how terrible it was? If i recall correctly, it wasn't a bad game, it was a totally broken and unplayable game, which is beyond what i'm willing to forgive. I can accept bad games, but i just can't stand broken ones.
There are apparently several theories on why the game was pulled, with no official confirmations on any of them. The two leading ones is that the game was so bad that someone somewhere decided that it was too much hassle keeping it up for sale, and the other one being that Disney/Pixar disliked the fact that one of the aliens kinda looked like a Toy Story character.

Broken games can sometimes be fixed. Nothing helps a bad game.

I'd much rather have brilliant but broken games like VtM:Bloodlines than generic time wasters that work well.
I've seen Operation Matriarchy for sale on Gamersgate before and been vaguely curious. Very, very vaguely, as in, "Not $8 worth of curious." But hey, I see they're all the way up to 99 sales!
The bundle is still active... it has now been on for 2 1/2 month and sold 1024 units, time left -9 days. This reeks of success and professionalism.
This bundle is not a face kick.

More like a face fart.
Meh. I didn't buy this even when it was only a dollar. Because I wouldn't play those games even if they paid me a dollar.
I bought it for a dollar and consider it a very good deal. So far, I played "Operation Matriarchy" (a good shooter, I liked the increasingly organic surroundings from the second and third section of the game), and "Adam's Venture (nice, atmospheric, but you really have to like spending hours walking through caves with a torch in your hand). I wouldn't buy it for 8$, but the 1$ deal was great (thanks again to the people who mentioned it here, I wouldn't have noticed it on my own).

After reading this thread I can't help but to feel that there's 1000 people out there feeling a bit cheated right now.
Hellforces & Operation Matriarchy are truly horrible games - astonishingly bad indeed - although Operation Matriarchy does have the benefit of having an interesting, organic artstyle. There's also an 'enhancement' patch for OM that fixes the appalling translation, re-adds the music and refines the textures, which brings the game up from a 1/10 quality to a 2/10 quality game.

Other than that, there's little 'indie' about this bundle. This is bargain bin fodder from years past, nothing more. The only thing that vaguely interests me here is Hard Truck Apocalypse, and I'm not paying $8 just for that.

Edit: Oh hold on, it seems you can pay $1 after all. I'll chuck in $2.50 then...

Yeh, I guess I'm $2 worth of curious. If one of them catches me by surprise and turns out to be amazing, I can always give more.
I bet they're thinking "I knew we should have stuck to Steam keys, no one wants this DRM-free nonsense!" when the reason they've only had a thousand sales in over 2 months is because the games are all awful.

Isn't it just 9 days left? The time (i.e. the absolute value) is still ticking down, after all... they should have picked a "0" instead of "-" in that case, though.

Did their other bundles have an 8$ minimum price as well?

I would have bought the bundle earlier, but but not for 8$, especially since I owned the two 1C-published games already.

They definitely had a minimum, but I can't remember what... I think it was at least $5 minimum. The first one was Steam keys only, the second was a mixture of Steam keys and Desura keys if I remember correctly.
