I just noticed that GOG.com doesn't link to any external sites on its game cards. It kind of makes it an extra chore to dig out the official web page of a given game or its makers. Even Steam always provides at least one external link on a game's store page, so could GOG also give this extra convenience to developers and customers alike, or is there some practical reason that makes it difficult?
I like this idea, especially if it's to the developer's own website and not merely to the distributor's page, if they happen to be different.
If you want it, be sure to vote for it!

Biggest reason I could think of was that back when GOG started, most of the developers were out of business, so there was nothing to link to. They could probably link to the publishers' sites, but since most (if not all) of the support is done by GOG, I think they probably didn't see any reason to.

They have promised a site re-write at some point in the future though, so maybe they could add such functionality.
I would like a link to the game specific forum as well.

I agree. I made a thread about it, although it may have come across as overly-suspicious -

This would be helluva lot more useful than linking to dev's site (not sure what the point would be tbh)
