It's 3 weeks to the day that my grandfather has passed away... I still can't believe that he's gone...
Anyway, time to move on, and time to celebrate life.
For the Christians among us (even though I consider myself agnostic, but I still like holidays ;)), Easter is coming up.
Thus time to give away something:
One copy of Pharaoh on GOG for the lucky winner so that he may build a great monument in it :).

Entry conditions:
Rep at least 50 or account older than April 2013.
You must want to play the game, not for re-gifting!
You may not enter for others this time.
This will be drawn some time next week.

Optional topic: do you celebrate Easter? Are there "rituals" to it?
For example when I was younger on Easter Monday we used to go to sprinkle the girls, basically you'd take a bottle of perfume and go to their houses and then you had to say a little poem and spray them a bit of perfume... They you'd get as reward an easter egg or occasionally money. Nowadays it's mostly money I guess, but when I was a kid we ate for a week easter eggs :).
Good luck everyone!

Not In, as I already have the game, but...

That would be assault in the USA, but it would be much needed for some of our population that don't believe in taking regular showers. In the USA, it's mainly a kids holiday. The night before they color (dye) hard-boiled eggs different colors and setup an Easter basket. The kids wake up to an Easter basket full of candy with a chocolate bunny. A lot of people hold Easter egg hunts for the kids, which would be plastic eggs holding coins or candy hidden all over for them to find Easter day.

Not in, thanks anyway +1

About Easter.. hmm we just try to don't eat any meat (except fish meat) during thursday-saturnday
Just a Try.. sometimes I fail
I'm in and I don't celebrate Easter.

But have a happy Easter and +1.
Sorry to hear about your loss. Not in. +1 for a great giveaway!

With regard to Easter rituals, we would do the usual egg hunt in the back yard during my childhood. Now, it's nothing too special. Although I think that will change when I have children.

Yupp :)... and thanks
I'm sorry for your loss.

Please count me in for Pharaoh, it's been sitting in my wishlist together with Zeus for some time now. Would have gotten it when it was on sale, but I was working a night shift and my credit card was left at home (should really make the effort to memorize the numbers...).

And yeah, we celebrate Easter, but not any special rituals besides the usual I guess - people paint the eggs on Thursday or Saturday, with the 1st egg always being red. Then the eldest woman in the family paints a cross on the children's foreheads. The Friday before Easter people go to church and crouch and crawl below a big table several times forming a cross.

Thanks!
Please accept my sincere condolences blotunga...

I believe that honouring the memory of our loved ones in itself always constitutes a celebration of life.

I'm in. Thanks for the giveaway (+1).

When I was a small boy the Easter Bunny used to pay me and my brother a visit and leave two huge cardboard eggs full of sweets. Although we had to go treasure hunting in the garden for them we luckily never encountered the floppy-eared pervert.

Thanks, as for the credit card, just as advice: create a paypal account, then you won't even need to know the numbers, just click and pay/play. It's scary actually how easy it is to buy stuff nowadays.
not in, but respect for your grand father
