This is driving me nuts.
So, I remember this game, it was an rpg with isometric camera in a sci-fi setting. don't recall if it was turn based or real time but I think it might have been real time. It isn't fallout but was pretty similar afaik. All i know is you shot guns and there were wormlike larvalike creatures. I think it might have been released around the late 90's early 2000's. Diablo 2/icewind dale esque graphics.

I can't think of the name, help me out please, you will have my eternal gratitude.

Going by isometric camera, sci-fi, Fallout, Diablo and shotguns... Restricted Area, maybe? A 2005 game but visually it could easily be from the early 2000s.
