9.99 is my limit for each game on this site. What games should i Buy first? I love games like Zelda and Breath of fire and Skyrim.....Love a great Adventure game

Top 5 games on GOG, in my humble opinion :


-Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (TBS)
-Sacrifice(Action/RTS hybrid)
-Planescape: Torment(RPG, and the best one ever)
-King of Dragon Pass(TB/Text-driven/Management/RPG)
-Eador: Genesis(4X-TBS with RPG elements)

You like adventure, Primordia than.

Beyond Good and Evil is the one I'd chiefly recommend.

Licurg will likely pop up in here and recommend Sacrifice as he always does. I'd be inclined to agree.

The Witcher is an awesome game.

Anachronox is a great game, a JRPG imitation if you like.

Also: The Gothic games, Arx Fatalis, Septerra Core.

I think that's pretty much all the ones that fit into the Zelda/Skyrim single-character RPG mindset.

Little Big Adventure 2 is the best action-adventure ever!

How is the game Enclave?? Is it worth the buy?

I love Enclave but it's a lot of fighting as well. If it's your cup of tea look into Gothic 1 & 2. Also if you don't mind a lot of swearing as well as pop culture and drug references Un-Epic is a nice platform adventure. It's new but it's an indy so it's age doesn't reflect it's specs.

It's fun enough, but I found it a little repetitive. Worth buying for the soundtrack alone though :)

(Although be warned that the game on GOG doesn't actually include the soundtrack as a separate download)

Enclave is a fun little game. It is very action oriented, and some classes are overpowered compared with the others. It a tad repetitive, but fun as long as it lasts.

I also tend to advise people to check out Psychonauts.

Look above :P If Enclave looks like something you'd like, why not take a look at Blade of Darkness, which is currently on sale for 2.39$ ? But hurry up and buy it, the sale ends today.

BOD is great but it is virtually ZERO adventure. It's one of my favorite games because it's mindless decapitation. Enclave has some actual puzzles in it.

yeah, which is why I prefer Enclave to BoD. it is also less stressful, and not so dependant on twitch gameplay and remembering keystrokes... and I like exploring each nook and cranny to find 100% of all gold on every level :)


Edit - speaking of wich - Arx Fatalis is also quite good game in this genre, much better that BoD, in my opinion.

Arx Fatalis, good call, kind of. It's got a tricky magic system which I LOVE but can be a little disconcerting for people looking for standard combat fair. You actually have to make the 'sign' with your mouse to perform the spell akin to the Harry Potter games.
