Until the wing commander games come out - Under A Killing Moon, one of my fondest memories growing up...
Master of Magic - if I didn't already own the CD version that is.

GothikOrk: Let's say hypothetically speaking you could buy just one game from the GoG library, which would it be and why?

I'm kind of in this predicament, which is why I started the thread. Right now I'm leaning toward Gothic 2, but I'm not sure. I played out Fallout 3 and Morrowind Oblivion, and I don't have the cash right now for the Two Worlds games. So I'm wondering if Gothic 2 would be a good alternative for an open world, free roaming RPG.
Gothic I and II are great games - if you get Gothic II make sure it comes with its expansion.
Should warn that Gothic III is the best of them but runs the worst, even on high end computers.

If I could only get one it would Arcanum: Steamworks of Might & Magic. To this date I have never played another RPG as complex and open-ended.

As of right now I'm thinking of snagging Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 for $6 before GoG realizes everyone else is charging ten to twenty a piece for the two games.
Heroes of Might and Magic III: Complete

the ammount of Great gameplay and content that game has is simply staggering

Dave3d: Carmageddon 2

Hands down one of my favorite (if not THE favorite) of all time.
wait, WHAT? Carmageddon on GOG?
Absolutely 'Master of Magic". Great Game. A shame that there was no real good remake :(

GhostQlyph: Blood 2. The original was great but the second game I loved more than any other solely for the retardedly evil Gideon. You don't get both a pretty epic storyline and a villain so over-the-top evil that a cutscene consisting of nothing but him kicking puppies would not feel out of place. Not since Blood 2.

Also, the music in Blood 2 is probably among my favorite videogame music ever. Minimal but memorable.
Nice to see some Blood 2 love around here

Both are great games :)

SimonG: wait, WHAT? Carmageddon on GOG?
Well, it says if you could only buy 1 game on gog, not stating if that game is currently on gog or not.
:D
If Carmageddon 2 were on gog, I would buy it. If I was only allowed 1 game from gog, and Carma 2 was here, that is the game I would get.
:D
Thanks for the replies it gave me some good ideas. I played all the PC RPGs that are made along the lines of Arcanum, Baldur's Gate, etc. So it looks like I'll probably take a chance on either Gothic or Two Worlds.
I'd get The Journeyman Project 2. I originally played my father's copy and since I never personally had a retail copy I was over-joyed to find it here. My favourite genre for PC gaming is adventure games and JMP2 is pretty damned perfect.
The Guild.
It's a tricky one. If I already knew what I know now (in a kind of desert island discs way) - Lords of The Realm 2. This is because I can not stop playing it, and it will still be fun in years time.

If I could only have bought one game from GOG through some kind of Time travel intervention where I buy the game, send it to myself, then shut down the site with my futuristic sarcasm. It would be Psychonauts, simply because it is the most original game I've played in a long time.
Conquest of the New World. The very reason I joined GOG in the first place.
Probably Fallout 2. I've always wanted to play it
Definitely betrayal at Krondor, which i have gotten through GOG and since the other game that comes in the pack is broken and has been so for months, will remain most likely the only game i buy from them.
