Ois: If the forums were a real place... I know it would be classy at least.

Aliasalpha: Like a nudie bar where the lap dancers use grammatically correct lies to extort money?

Zolgar: Ah, as I recall in second edition there was dual classing and multiclassing both, I could be mistaken though, as .. I've never actually played 2E.

My favorite was how a human fighter / thief / cleric was "dual-class," while an elven fighter / mage was "multi-class."
Hmm... Interesting...
It wouldn't be a rich, nice looking high tech kind of place, since we're all for buying old games for cheap.
People from all over the world would be huddling in groups around tables talking about different subjects. People would leave a group, join another, stay a while, chime in and then leave for another group.
The guys running the place would actually join these group conversations and are very well regarded by the community. They make us feel like customers instead of pirates.
So I'm thinking the forums would be like a big outside area of a restaurant or cafe where they happen to sell old games also. We talk with friends when we're there and when we go home we play our purchases.
GOG, I'd like a latte, please?
