Maybe this has been discussed before but a feature I would love to see on GOG is a "multiplayer discount." The idea would be that if you buy a game on GOG for yourself you can gift a second copy for an extra 20% off if you buy it within 24 hours of the original purchase. There are a few games I would like to get just for the multiplayer but none of my friends own a copy. An incentive system like this would take the edge off of just having to buy 2 copies just so I could get the gameplay I was looking for.

I think it would make more sense if some games were just offered in "four packs" and stuff, the way it's often done on Steam (just think of all the cases where people barely miss the time limit for getting the second discounted copy with your model). But I guess this will only really make sense once Galaxy is fully up and running and we got more multiplayer games to begin with.

Yeah that would be better, ignore what I said. I think offering 2 packs and 4 packs would be better.
