Seriously, with the wacky commentators, awesome selection of vehicles and the free-roaming racing with plenty of shortcuts this has to be one of the best old games. I played it a lot! Please GOG. Get it!

Female Red Neck : Why that ain't mah belly button!
Male Red Neck : *chuckle* And that ain't mah fingur, neither!

Yeah, that was a fun game back in the day....play-style and graphics aimed at kids but the voices and comments were distinctly adult in nature....
Yes!! It'd be great to get Big Red Racing! Absolutely awesome game, with epic moon and mars terrains and great water tracks.
I'm fortunate enough to still have my copy. And it runs pretty well in DosBOX. Which is good, the only thing holding back the release is presumably a licensing agreement.

I was a huge fan of racing games back in the 90s and one of my biggest complaints was always that they forced you to go around the track and prevented you from leaving it. BRR was different. There were a few sanctioned short cuts that players could take and even on some levels, most notably that one water level with the swamp boat thingies, you could completely leave the track.

The use of recording session outakes for most of the sound clips was an epic decision though.
In the hands of Eidos which means Square Enix, sadly :(
