you are overexageratting. I am not saying that those changes are bad thing. I am just saying complaining about crysis 2 not having next gen graphic is a valid complaint.

it is valid because Crysis 1 was like that. and you expect second game to be better and bigger than previous one. no idea what you are trying to say here.

I'm busy with Witcher 2 (goty), and sometimes I play Brink (great team-based shooter) also I am waiting for DNF and Deus EX 3 (looks amazing) so after all those games I will give Crysis 2 another change. :P

I found both the gameplay and storyline just meh.
Crysis 2 didn't even come close to giving me the open ended gameplay experience I had come to expect form the first game.

My expectations from the first game was that the second game would contain some form of open ended gameplay (which for me, it didn't).

haven't played the second one only and warhead. the orginal i did play but not sure why you are bringing this up. what has me having played or not played the game to do with anything?

and i am saying it is valid. there was quite vocal group about the game disappointed that crysis 2 is just another cross platform fps title and does do what was expected from the developers.

people who made far cry which pushed the open world system and graphics to the max

the complainst about duke were the same 10 years ago. dn3d was great and all but it still didn't change the fact it was not the continuation of the series.\

if crysis 2 had different title or was made by different company then that would not be an issue.

but it was crysis and it was from crytek. that makes the expecations valid.

i am not criticizing the game mate. i said that in the beginning. quality of the game is irrelevant here.

I prefer the original, more open and more of a sandbox, but I thought Crysis 2 was awesome as well.

Has someone modded out the stupid blue marker that is constantly on your HUD? I hate that shit.

I think people are waiting for the proper mod-tools which are due in June. Funny thing is when the SDK is released later I expect some to treat Crysis 2 like the second coming. Of course it will be far too late in the game's life to matter to sales figure but then that was the same problem Crysis had.
