deejrandom: Yah I just have a 360 for that one. Works well on there :P

Getting a console is not a solution. :p

already owning a console, and getting the console version instead is.

DarrkPhoenix: Interesting, don't see that card chosen all that often. Might end up struggling a bit if you throw any particularly graphically intensive games at it, although as long as your graphical needs aren't on the high side the performance/price ratio is quite good.

deejrandom: Well it is doing fine at the moment. At least I can upgrade now if I do need to get a new card. Basically I want to play Fallout 3..and it can do that well. Plus most PC games you can turn off what is slowing your PC down. (Case in point: I downloaded the Sacred 2 demo and turned everything to ultrahighmegacool. The frame rate dropped..then I turned of antialiasing and it works just fine now.)
I mean we are at GOG.com so my gaming style isn't based on the newest graphics ;)

Well said. It seems all too rare that people actually just get hardware that does what they need it to do at a good performance/price ratio, and instead get sucked into the trap of going automatically for the newest/fastest/most popular hardware (especially with GPUs).

Well I got the best deal for my money. I know what games I play on the PC versus what I play on the console. (I seem to be a rare breed that plays both..or admits to it, heh. I know there are more out there :P) I figure that this pc will be good enough for The Old Republic and Dragon Age as well, the two games I am most looking forward to.
Oh..and Fallout: New Vegas (Which I bet will be a isometric turn based RPG.)
