F1ach: Yeah, have you tried it on Win 7?

hucklebarry: I've played the retail version on 64 bit win7. I think there was a trick... (iirc, you simply copy the files and play from a folder, but its been a few months since I've tried it).

... it did, however, work very well.
yeah, I saw one trick where you install it on a XP/98 machine ans then copy the files to a win7 machine, but it seemed like McEffort, i'll have a look in the attic and root them out and check if they do, thanks :)
Damn, you so lucky, the best FPS evar.
I got it used from ebay in good condition but cd2 was missing :@ but I didn't bother sending it back.
I actually found the GOTY myself. The game is OK but the stealth mechanics are horrible.
I got it and Undying for £10 earlier this year
Great games but the NOLF stealth is kind of meh but shootings great
Both work for me on Win7 64bit
Sell it on eBay, make big bucks, buy an open copy. Ka-ching!

Edit: Oh wait, you're in Romania. Never mind, you got a good deal!

Yap, but both has widescreen issues. I'm sure few here cares but in NOLF weapons are stretched and the journal's top is cut off a portion in Clive Barker's Undying. A reason why I want them both here.

To OP: What's the price for Undying where you bought NOLF? If it's less than 5-10$ I recommend you get it as well.

Yeah thats annoying so I play them in their normal resolutions
And if GOG released with widescreen I would totally rebuy
There are several widescreenpatches for it, just google for them.

Aware of any that doesn't stretch weapons? Apparently on WSGF there aren't any yet.

The one I played had stretched weapons and cutscenes, but I saw there are more patches so I don't really know.
Works just fine without any issues on Win7x64. Problem is the widescreen, or the lack of a widescreen option to be more exact.
I'll look into some fan mods regarding this. Worse comes to worse I do have a 4:3 monitor also on the wife's PC. Not a big problem.

And Undying is I think around 7$. I may pick it up for collecting purposes, but I'm not good with horror games. I tent to get frightened like a little girl :))

It's charmingly atmospheric but not really scary, nothing to do with Penumbra or Nosferatu or such games. It's more "ooh that would be scary" than "eek that is scary". Which is absolutely cool and lovely. You should get it.

NOLF WSGF

It's the dll file the guy has uploaded to dropbox. You throw it in and it should work after you have changed resolution. Remember only the environment will work with this one but it's better than nothing unless you don't mind 4:3 on a widescreen monitor.

As for horror games, that's the point!!! You're supposed to be scared. The problem is with my attitude after a while I don't get scared anymore so I recommend three things:

-No external lights
-Headphones
-Only play for max 2-3 hours at a time so your mind doesn't get used to the idea that in the end it's only a simulation.

;)

My last sentence can really be taken the wrong way if you read it as "pay" and not "play".

where did you get them? Is it a chain store or something so I know where to look?
I found it too! In Davy Jones' locker.
