It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

You know why? Because every time I visit a thread more than once, it becomes auto-favorited and then in order to remove it from my favorites I have to wait a full page load to uncheck it.
I've also noticed on a few different machines that there is considerable lag between hitting 'Post my Message' and the time it takes for that window to disappear. Also sometimes, when hitting + or - 1 it takes a few seconds as well.

If it's a thread you've started, or a thread you're posting in (and receiving replies to), you can change your settings to not make them get automatically favorited.
If that's not the case, I'm not sure how you have it occur. I can visit a thread multiple times without a new post in the thread and don't have it become favorited.

Yeah, that's only if I get a reply, that's how my settings are, and it happens regardless of whether or not I get a reply, also, when I tried changing it to never at all, just now, I got myself a handy dandy 404 with nice little bears and a picture of the universe like I somehow divided by zero and the page ate itself.

Just changed my settings to sticky a topic whenever I got a reply and, surprise, it stickied this topic, even though I had received a reply before setting that.
But, I can't replicate what you're having. Turned the setting off and on, reenteried the topic after unstickying it, it won't resticky automatically again.
It happens at both my work and home computer
EDIT:
There are a ton more forum issues, I got this just a few seconds ago
It'd be nice to know if 500kb really is the limit for a single image or not
I use firefox 3 at home and ie7 at work

I did send them a feedback email stating that this home-grown forum, while a good idea to save on spending money on a licensed message board it does have stuff I'm used to seeing missing.
Go to last unread post link (handy for those huge threads which are constantly in use or you haven't looked into for a while)
Last message posted by... (so you can see who and when a reply was actually done)
Private Messaging
Profiles
Be interesting to know if the GoG team are actively looking into adding any of the above.
