A grand use of $59.99.

Actually it was $32.
Not even worth that much.

I guess you *could* torrent it when they get off their asses and release a crack. I canceled my preorder because of my shitty internet connection anyway.
What will I do with this useless DVD and 100% recycled case? (oh, the game doesn't come with a manual. I though amazon had shipped me an empty box)

While in the most basic level I feel sorry for a fellow gamer who can't play a game, on the surface all I can say is, I am not sorry for you.
Nothing personal, I just don't feel sorry for anyone who gives Ubi money for their games that have this new DRM scheme.
Ubisoft wins again!

Recycle the case and use the disc as a lovely coaster and a reminder to never again buy an Ubisoft product.

Yes, Ubisoft is probably desperate to do something good, so they decided not to use paper manuals any more. Though, I wouldn't call those few pages of installation instructions a manual anyway.

I usually have a really nice internet connection, but it's been flaking out on me all the time for the last few days. I keep having to reload pages to get them to load up properly.
Lucky i didn't buy any of these kinds of games..
This made me laugh a lot. Thanks.
I have to wonder why you even bought the game in the first place. Pretty much every corner of the internet has already been regaled with horror stories and complaints about this DRM system, yet despite this you decided to buy the game anyway, and then, shock, horror, the same kinds of problems befall you. Hopefully you can at least use this as a learning experience.
Forgot about these.

That second one is especially hilarious. Seeing as a) it's probably not true and b) the system requirements to run UPLAY (not the game) is probably something insanely low.
