Neuro hunter

Ok ok, Bear with me i have only just played like 30mins of this game but i am really really suprised, Seems really good the RPG elements of the game looks like theres loads of crafting to do, Loads of people who have played it have related it to system shock and dues ex all i can see atm is a bit of DOOM :P

Just edited with the .ini so it has proper FOV... When you start the game it looks well too zoomed in, Plus the voice acting is better than chaser.

If they released this game here on GOG, Ill instabuy if i knew i had the cash :P still just brought the disc version anyway for £3 :D

I just ordered it off of cex for £1 so lets see if its any good. If not it can be my new coffee coaster
It's also available on Gamersgate.

I'd had my eye on it for a while (by while, I mean years). When I finally found some gameplay vids on Youtube, I was less than impressed. The demo didn't work on my PC then, and when I tried it again a few weeks ago, it still glitched out on me (the world was a monotone colour; all I could see were the NPCs).

Maybe when it finally gets a good sale on Gamersgate, I'll pick it up since they offer refunds if it doesn't work as intended.

Will Rock is not bad. I own it and completed it and actually had fun playing it. It's a bit glitchy (but nothing game breaking) and far less fun than Serious Sam, but if you find it at a very discounted price, it's a fun little game.

Be aware that I couldn't make it run properly on Win 7 64 bits, though. It works correctly on Win XP

Didn't experience any bugs on XP, and I'm sure I completed it at least three-four times. Its very fun in LAN too. :D Might be 7 acting weird.

I really, truly and absolutely mean you no offense, but you've got to read this...

Then again, once you edit it, I'm the one who's going to look like a dolt. :-)

I remember trying the Neuro hunter demo back when it was new, but I never got into it. I guess the full game is better then?

Well, It may not be in the class of "best gaem evar" but its really worth a play, Especially if you want to pick up useless objects and sell them back to vendors :P for £3 i am quite surprised does need a few .ini tweaks for FOV and mouse movement (that i have not found out how to do yet :/ )
Alright, you convinced me to hit GG and buy this (for $5, why not) but now I am already regretting it. Either I missed something really basic or this game has one of the toughest starts ever. Nothing but a rusty knife to get past the creatures in the tunnels? I can't get through more than two of them without losing half my health and now I've run out of med items. Without a better or at least ranged weapon, I'm never getting past this opening area.
