None taken, sometimes people need to blow of some steam, and I wanted to make it possible with Death Note/crazy thread.

bevinator: Bumping this thread to say that I found the later episodes of Death Note to be even more ridiculous, absurd, and downright bad than the later episodes of Battlestar Galactica, the X-Files, Dragonball Z, Lost, and Heroes. Combined.
It was almost like they'd just thrown their hands up in the air and said "WE DUNNO WTF WE'RE DOING" but for some reason they kept on making more of the show. I'm all for a convoluted plot, but please at least attempt to have some internal consistency. I'll admit that it started off great, though.
I think the writer changed after you know who died.
wormholewizards: Death Note was one of my favourite anime, but lost interest after the death of L. The plot became illogical and too hollywood. I read somewhere the manga is slightly different?
