Sorry to hear about the injury, Lou. Best wishes for a smooth recovery!

(not in)
Silly things, or silly things said?

I was once running into the house from the garage, and I ran right into the car mirror. It won, of course. That's not the stupid part, of course...

The stupid part was trying to get back up directly under it, and hitting it AGAIN.

This happened one more time before I moved out from under it.

In, of course. The Heroes of Might and Magic series is exceptional, and certainly worth having.
Thanks for the giveaway, Lou, and thanks for the game, jsjrodman! You guys rock :D Count me in!

As for the silly thing I've done...when I was 11, my mom went to the grocery store, and I had just been given my first pocket knife by my grandfather a few days ago. My dog, a Yorkshire Terrier mix, hadn't been groomed in a few days, and she had all these clumps of matted fur on her. So, I got out my pocket knife and started shaving them off of her. You could imagine my mom's horror when she walked back in with the groceries and saw me holding the dog with a knife in my hand XD I hope she forgets this story before I get old enough to be embarrassed by it!

Well, if it's any consolation, you can get injured even easier than that. Two weeks ago I was at a rock concert, jumping up and down. Next day my knee was hurting so bad that I couldn't straighten my leg without hurting. Diagnosis: inflammation of ligaments. Treatment: 2 weeks rest :( Which for a sports junkie like me, it's a lot :D
Anyway, a quick recovery to you. And since I've bought the entire HoMM collection in the summer sales, I'd in for JohnWalrus if I may.
count me in for:
Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete Edition

thanks jsjrodman + Lou!
+1s

So lets hear about some of the silly / stupid things you have done:

i did the standard go to a Japanese restaurant and convince someone else that the green wasabi was some tasty minty green ice cream that needs to be eaten all at once.

karma didnt even wait 2 hours to catch up with me that day*.
i vividly still remember vomiting up the seaweed from the random item i got >_<

* still was totally worth it ^_^
Hope your recovery is a speedy one Lou. Thanks for the giveaway, I'm in.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune Lou, I hope it heals correctly with no lasting effects.

Growing up I was very clumsy and to avoid being embarrassed, I became very distant thus minimizing the chances of getting myself into trouble. However when I was about seven my family and I went to visit one of my uncles and his son had just got a red bicycle for his birthday. To everybody's surprise I asked if I could ride it and I was so enthralled by that red bike that I even tried to ride on the back of the bike while my cousin was pedaling. Needless to say I, somehow, got my foot caught by the spokes of the back wheel and badly sprained my ankle.

Ever since then, once year, every year, I manage to get myself in the embarrassing situation of tripping down a flight of stairs and spraining my ankle. I have learned to use self-deprecating humor to get over these situations but I'm starting to get worried, because every time it happens it gets slightly worse. Last time I had to have a cast put on for two weeks to allow the ligaments to heal, and thats been almost an year and a half ago. So I'm already overdue :).

I'm in! Thank you for the giveaway to both you and jsjrodman, +1.
I rode down a steep grassy hill on my friend's little sister's bike that had, probably, the most ineffective pair of brakes ever. I was lucky that I only ended up at the bottom of the hill with a handle bar shaped bruise across my chest and a little girl crying over her totally wrecked bike.

Thanks, Lou and jsjrodman!
Thanks for another great giveaway, Lou

I tend (to want) to forget the stupid things I've done, so I can't give a good example at the moment.
I hope you heal up quickly, Lou.
I'm in if I may.
Count me in and +1.

When I was young (8 years old) I wanted to be like Superman so I told a cousin (who was 16 years old) to carry me and throw me up so I could gain altitude and land. Well, I couldn't maneuver in the air so I landed flat on my hands, which caused me great pain on my wrists. Since I was in pain, my brother said: "If you pull them, the pain will go away". So he did pull my hands which caused me even more pain. Fortunately no broken bones or joints, but I had pain in my wrist for a week (probably swollen muscles).
Get well soon, old man! (I kid, I kid, about the old thing.) Hopefully your granddaughter didn't get too scared by your action, with what it resulted in and all.

In the meantime, as you heal, I am in.
