Thank you for the giveaway! +1
Week 44.Almost there.
I have mixed feeling about Action RPG.Look at Dark Souls for e.g.
Pros
-Even a single hit takes a good chunk of health and bosses pretty can dish you in a mattter of secs if youre careless.
It all about learning patterns.
-Have various classes with leveling system.
-And more important it doesnt have hand holding.
-Soundtrack that emphasis boss battles.
Cons
-Frame rate.
-Requires a gamepad/poor optimized for pc.

A lot of games and not speaking only about Action RPG could learn a bit from Dark Souls.
Im in.
I like action RPGs fine as long as they're like Dark Souls :) If we're talking something like Diablo, then no, I'm not a fan of those.
I would like to enter for this one if possible Lou thank you for the chance!

I really like action rpg games a very memorable one to me is Fable the original and the lost chapters I quite enjoyed those and was disappointed when they messed up the sequels an older game would be seiken densetsu 3 that was a brilliant game too
Please count me in. +1. Also, I generally like action/RPGs, if it's a good one.
I'd like to enter. Thanks, Lou!

I tend to like action RPGs, most of my experience with them is with older games though, such as on the NES. I enjoyed Diablo as well.
Would love to have a chance at this one. Count me in, please, and thanks!

As for ARPG's, I'm probably not the genre's biggest fan - hell, I still haven't played Diablo 2 to this day (although I intend to, eventually. Or so I keep telling myself), but then again, I loved the first Diablo, and am very fond of stuff like Torchlight. I'll probably also check out Path of Exile at some point, but generally speaking, although I find the RPG aspect of these games very compelling, they're usually just too monotonous for me. I guess there's a limit to the number of hordes of skeletons/zombies/other ridiculously underpowered abominations that I can massacre before I start fearing for my sanity.

Don't write bad checks! You will eventually be thrown in jail and well everyone knows what happens there - so just don't start down that road ;-p

Not in Lou but my son loves, loves, loves this game - not sure why since his ability to play it and also not write bad checks seems to go hand in hand with a silent streak...but if he could I'm sure he say that it is an amazing game ;-)

Best of luck everyone and always, thanks Lou!
First time Poster, long time gamer. I would love to have a chance to win this.

I love any type of RPG, although I prefer more wizards/fantasy/real life (I know, bit of an oxymoron but still) instead of skeletons/zombies/brains. The more strategic the better as well.

I also have mixed feelings about them. On one hand I do like some, like torchlight or dungeon siege, on the other hand they can be also annoying like I've found Kingdoms of Amalur. What I loathe most is probably QTEs though so that might be a reason why I didn't liked KA.
Thanks Lou and I'm in
I'm in.
I love Action RPG.
And now there's plenty to satisfy my thirst for them.
I always loved zelda, the first ARPG I played. And the first Devil may cry really got me into the genre since before it, there just wasn't that many ARPG.
Okami(PS2), was also really amazing. And Quite a long game.
Shank, dust an Elysian tail, Muramasa(WII) shows that 2D ARPG are not dead.

Some of those games need to be released on PC.
But I agree with blotunga, QTE really need to be left out of those games. Only god of war managed to pull off the QTE event well.

BTW blotunga, I prefer to call torchlight and the likes hack and slash.
To me it is a different genre, and I think it is better to put them in a different category.
hack and slash are great too, but mixing every games in one category seems just wrong to me.
Today every games are called RPG. just because they add a level system :(

In for elvin if i may.
I love ARPG's currently playing lots of Path of Exile and pretty excited for D3 Reaper of Souls, but my youth whas FILLED with Diablo 2! the memories of that game still make me so happy!

Thanks for doing this! +1!
This has been one of the most amazing series of giveaways so thank you very much again Lou, I'd also like to be in with a chance as I know this game is famous for being notoriously difficult. Thanks again. :)
