I seem to have the same problem with Dawn of War... Even when starting the winter assault exe, the game just shows the standard Dawn of War campaign. Well, if this doesn't get solved, there's still the platinum edition, which should only be 2,50 euros during the winter sale.

SimonG: Now let's take a look at the highest average bundle. Which was the book bundle. Roughly 15$ average on this one. What is the difference? Books were all written by a single author.
No. 8 or 9 authors, something like that.

SimonG: Just as a reminder if anyone missed the picture I posted earlier.

The game installed, as in files on disc, is the Gold Edition. The folder is even named so. Yet it somehow doesn't start.
It is probably same as it always was. I have DOW for a long time and when I install Dawn of war, it installs WA files as well (into the same folder) but I am not able to run WA until I install it as well. And installation of WA is immediate because all files are already installed, it only unlocks them, I think.
For company of heroes and opposing front, I had company of heroes base game installed long before this bundle but what was weird was after installing it opposing front appear in my library(didn't buy it) and was always pending download in my download page. I don't think it ever downloaded (12gb). Now that I own it after the bundle even through it didn't install, the play button is there instead and when clicked goes through a short procedure and launches the game and download page states 11.8gb/11.8gb downloaded. So either It has been gradually downloading all this time or it actually uses files from the base game and only really need to download a tiny bit. Or something like what the post before mine said.

Anyone tried this?

I think he means 1 book is written by 1 author. Games tend to have teams working on them.
Still hoping for a last minute addition of Homefront. Maybe they'll go for it on the final 24 hours.
Hey, does anybody know if you can play Company of Heroes offline via LAN?
So if two persons buy the game, can they put steam into offline mode and play CoH against each other?
I don't have steam yet and don't know much about it. Any help is appreciated.
Winter Assault has been added on the store page.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/9310/

Which means it probably won't be added to the bundle. The business strategy for this bundle is quite clear with this. I wonder if it works.

And it's the same price as the gold edition......-_-"

They should hit the $5 million mark in the last day. Not bad!

Actually, it's not :D Gold Edition is now $5 more expensive than platinum edition :D

I don't have even slightest respect for THQ now... Good luck finding a new job, THQ guys!

Not the case in North America
Platinum is $29.99
Gold is $19.99. Same price for both GOTY and WA (individually)

Basically it is just like a large demo (same for the SR3). If you like it, you still need to pay full price for the "complete" edition.
Seriously? :D Platinum edition is 9.99 EUR here.

edit: OH, platinum edition now lacks Winter Assault!

How lovely. I hope you die, THQ.

I disagree on the SR III part. The game without any DLC is still bigger and better than many other games. The Story DLCs are not bad, but not really essential. The other DLCs are just costumers and fluff.
