anyone know if humble bundle will add more games to this bundle and when
This requires Steam to buy. For me it's a stopper already. Why can't they sell them straight without any DRM? I'm surprised that Humble Bundle put this up. Usually they sell only DRM free stuff.

So, um, how much is THQ hoping to get out of this? Have they said anything about goals?

That's why this thread has over 900 posts... this is a very controversial bundle.

My guess is they are willing to take whatever they can get.

So far they probably have a bit under 2 million.

Despite all the people on forums that say they do all to charity, all to humble, ect. It seems generally most people leave the sliders alone. I forget which bundle it was, but the one where they wanted to save acres of rain forest showed that. It listed how much each acre was, and how much total was saved, and it added up to around what the default split was for charity.
This bundle still going?. They haven't run out of keys yet?.
Seeing some of the articles and now seeing how fast the bundles have been sold worries me now that in future other publishers ( its pretty much a guarantee - although which ones out there have a large catalogue of games they would be willing to flog in a PWYW bundle?)will try and do what THQ have done partnering Humble. I guess more worringly, doesn't seem Humble worries too much about it not being DRM free (so much for that!).

One reason I like buying the Humble Bundles is because they are DRM free and that they usually support Linux. This bundle doesn't support either. I'm quite disappointed with this bundle.

Bonus games typically come after a few days of the bundle's launch. I'm not sure if they'll do that with this bundle, but it's certainly possible.

What other THQ games do people see as possibilities to be added?

I'm thinking Homefront will be one of them.

Ah, yes I remember that game being mentioned somewhere.

The key added itself to my account as "THQ Humble Bundle Core - Nov 2012" - so yes, i think they'll have bonus games.

Or it could just mean all of them except Saint's Row 3.

CaptainGyro: Yes I re-edited. What's your point? I re-edit all the time when I have to stop posting and do something for a few moments. So?

I also had to edit this post because I screwed up the quote hahaha! Wait...that's not even funny

Edit oh burn somehow hahahahah- Also you're thing about ME lowering your opinion of me is still idiotic, considering that I didn't even misrepresent him. So yes it is your reading skills that are the problem

SirPrimalform: I like how you mainly address my afterthought and respond to the main body of my post with:
considering that I didn't even misrepresent him. So yes it is your reading skills that are the problem

SirPrimalform: Well bravo. I did in fact also present the option that maybe he did say that and your quotes just don't do a good job of supporting it. You would have noticed that if your reading skills weren't such a problem. Burn!
Since you've managed to reduce the argument to "well you can't read!" - "no, you can't read!", I'm out.
I've posted direct quotes from him to support my argument. You really think saying " the next Humble Bundles are going to be the Origin Bundle, The Securom Bundle, The UPlay Bundle The GFW Bundle" etc along with the rest of his posts up to that point didn't strongly suggest that he thought the old Humble Bundles will be very rare? Are you serious? Explain to me how naming 5 DRM'd bundles in a row without throwing in a DRM free pack anywhere in there, talking about how drm free debuts will no longer occur, how this will hurt the other bundles, how so and so developer and then so and so developer will start demanding DRM bundles and HumbleBundle HAS to agree to let anyone else do this now and no reluctant developer will EVER agree, bad things are 1000x more likely to happen and we should expect the worst humanly possible...not to mention other posts where he talks about how this could be so bad it might lead to gog dying in a year's span ..tell me how that doesn't imply the possibility that the DRM free Humble bundles will be very scarce.

With that, along with you mistakenly thinking that I "didn't get" how people were upset about the lack of drm, you needlessly pointing out that he didn't say the bundles would stop when I never said he did, and your reluctance to re-read things, it seems apparent to me that you have a reading problem. I'm not saying it to be all "hahahaha you can't read you're stupid"

But when somebody starts calling me smug and a dick and talking about how they have a lower opinion of me when I don't think I did anything wrong, yeah I'm going to point it out if I think that's part of the problem. I'm partly mentioning it as helpful advice that it's something you might want to work on in the future. It will help prevent the dismissal of people who actually will be helpful to you.

You accused me of misinterpreting his posts and yet that's exactly what you've done to me throughout this thread. You've also accused me of not strongly presenting an argument, when you've done exactly that too. You made one unconvincing post that concluded with "so yeah he didn't say the bundles would stop". When I let you know that were telling me something I already knew, you called me a dick and expected me to simply "stop acting all smug and acknowledge the fact that you misunderstood him" just because you said so. But I'm the one who is actively lowering opinions here. Makes complete sense, man.

EDITED 8 HOURS LATER JUST TO SHOW THERE AIN'T NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, SON

Rincewind81: No. Not in Germany.
Yes , in Germany .
Oh, look, another Humble Botanicula Bundle thread on GOG :)

As soon as you guys come to accept that this is a business the better. The guys running the Humble Bundle want as many sales as possible, and the DRM-free, multiplatform thing was a great way to get a lot of press really fast in the start.

As long as you treat this as a sale, and not as a political statement, then all is good in the universe.
