The actual purchase process was very slick and worked really fast. You can even avoid connecting the unique download page to your account (just like with the bundles). The account page is still a bit "beta" but that was to be expected.
And now for the true beauty. The game I bought was A Virus Named Tom. I noticed this today on the Steam start page and was just about to buy it. But I was currently in Sweden (my IP), so I didn't bother (can't buy outside Germany). Then, while looking at this thread I noticed that the game was also available on the HiB store. Bam, game bought.
Now, I've got the best deal for the devs, got a Steam key from the deal, downloading it through the Steam servers so that HiB doesn't have to cover the bandwidth. Be-au-ti-ful!
