SimonG: Now officially the best selling bundle in "units" sold. Pushing 900k atm.
Even the Humble Guys are didn't expect this. I wonder what will happen when the counter reaches 999 999.
While the server infrastructure of EA is (understandably) struggling, at least they managed to have enough keys ready.
Edit: But it did take them more than a day to outsell the THQ bundle. EPIC FAIL!
When you sell a bunch of AAA titles, some of which quite recent, for $1 total, it is quite natural they will sell like hotcakes. Hell, they would have sold great even if they had offered only OnLive keys to the games.

Hmm, there's an idea for OnLive... "Humble OnLive Bundle!".

won't work.service only works in certain countries. having said that, humble has sold its soul already so why not. bet Humble COD bundle happens hahahah
btw. what's the case with Date Night DLC for TS3? Before it was saying on my bundle page the key for this DLC will be added later, now this message disappeared, but no key.
It gets interesting if you get Humble Bundle DLC only bundles.
Or even HumbleBundle seasons passes...

But I'm more expecting something like humble bundle MMOPRG 30 days membership as next step down the vicous circle humble bundle has chosen to succumb to.

hmm.... that sounds strangely enticing...
Still waiting on them to sort out that DLC thing. I must say though that for those who didn't realize it, TS3 has the same EA authorize/deauthorize shtick going on.

I don't see the problem.

Introducing: "Humble Regional Bundle"
What's the multiplayer like in the games that have multiplayer? i don't play much with strangers that have ages playing the game because I don't have the patience to learn all the nooks and crannies to be good, so i was thinking of fetching the bundle for a friend and playing with him, but for that to work, multiplayer should be like Starcraft, where you set up a game and only the people you want can join it. Is it all public servers?

I owned Medal of Honor before the bundle and you have no control over who joins or not. Pretty sure battlefield 3 must be the same. I'm wondering if you can set private races for Burnout paradise or private matches in Crysis 2. Maybe I'll get lucky if one of the command and conquer games join the bundle later on.

El_Caz: snip
In Burnout you can create private games, yes. Though the menu set up is kind of clumsy to navigate, it is definitely possible.

TOO LATE!
We had that already.
THQ bundle was region locked for Germany in the beginning. Then the gave out censored Steam keys for Titan Quest and Saints Row.
That's your Regional Bundle right there...

kkreo: That s*** scans my PC?Where did you learn that?

Mrstarker: Just something that I remembered, but a quick Google gave me this:
http://www.cinemablend.com/games/EA-Says-Origin-Isn-t-Spyware-Although-It-Does-Scan-Your-Entire-PC-36690.html
That article is very out of date, Origin has changed considerably since then. I actually ran a process comparison between Origin and Steam on my computer last year and Origin only scanned within it's installed directory while Steam actually ventured outside of it's directory structure and scanned my Windows directories and a few third party directories like Logitech.
Only games I would want are Dead Space 3 and Mirror's Edge.

Also I am surprised they did not include Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

My only multiplayer experience out of the games in the bundle is from Burnout Paradise (and even that's very little), but you can add people to a friends list or do open multiplayer races/events with random people. Unfortunately, I haven't done much of the online stuff yet, so I haven't explored many of the options there for friend events. Sorry if I wasn't all that helpful!

Probably selling too well still...

Yeah, my post was not about the current state of affairs, but more of an enumeration of the various crap that EA has pulled over the years. The bottom line is that I don't trust EA. It continuously tries to get away with murder and only backs off when there's significant backlash.
