fortune_p_dawg: Does anyone remember the Image comic back from the early 90's called 'Savage Dragon vs The Savage Megaton Man?'

It was like candy for my 11 year old brain.
Yes! I miss the "old" Image comics... I use to read Youngblood religiously... WildC.A.T.S., Spawn, Shadowhawk, Witchblade, etc, etc. I've been "out of" comic books for a while and Image sure has changed with the times (I think DC bought out a lot of titles, etc). Savage Dragon was fun.

The old Image characters were so fun. I used to love to draw them in school (which always got me in trouble).
Maybe Gen13, Prophet, or Team17 will somehow show up as a second week additions.

I remember how cool is seemed when Image Comics formed from a bunch of A-list comic book artists starting their own company to demand ownership of their creations instead of Marvel/DC/Etc just taking over their ideas and running them into the ground.

2nd Week BTA comics have been added.

- Invincible Vol. 1
- The Manhattan Projects Vol. 1
- Saga Vol. 2
I own a fair number so I won't be buying bundle but it is a damn good deal for some great comics
Skipping from TWD 1 to 20 is odd though

Having just read Saga Vol. 1 I'm interested in Vol 2 but can't justify paying the current BTA for that.

Not really, it's a very common practice to generate/ increase purchases, i.e. incentivise you to buy everything in between.
I hate incomplete stories. I'm a graphic novel lover, but pieces of stories are just boo! for me.

That said, I loved Invincible -- every frame (well, almost).

XYCat: I just don't get the volume 1 and volume 20 thing
As HyperinsomniacLive noted, it's intended to get you interested enough in the series to buy the others. This doesn't fully explain issue #20, but they state on their site it's a chance for people that are already following the series to get the latest issue digitally if they don't already have it.

It's not all the uncommon to do things like this. I've seen it for DVD series where the first season is discounted, and sometimes the currently released season will be on promo as well for the fist day or days of release.

I quite like this series. Enough that I've picked them up in hard copy.
