lol, yes... I was somewhat excited when I first saw the daily bundles. Since it's Humble Bundle, I wouldn't have expected them to be shit, at least not all of them (I generously and somewhat unfairly include repeats or games I already own in my derogatory description in order to obtain a more general and better sounding statement).

Eight days ago, the prospect that out of 14 Humble Bundles, I wouldn't buy a single one, and leave the event with the impression that Humble have severely tarnished their reputation, sounded quite unrealistic.

I hope this DLC nightmare will end sometime. It's just crazy... I'm ok with proper expansions, but the cosmetic DLCs, extra weapons, extra units, etc. has to stop.

Its too late, have you seen the amount of DLC for Saints Row 3 and Magicka? Xbox hueg!

:( Yes I have, but at least I could get all the DLC for SR3 and Magicka in a single cheap bundle. No such option for CKII I'm afraid. Borderlands 2 is even worse, that's why I've put off buying it for so long.

And I absolutely hate EA. You can't buy GOTY editions of Mass Effect 1-3, only the base games are ever on discount.. Thus I'll pirate them if I ever want to play them.

Yeah, this is the attitude towards DLC that annoys me to no end. Once Gearbox came out with the Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition which was supposedly the complete game they still continued to churn out more DLCs after that. It is absolutely ridiculous how developers continue to nickle and dime there customers with this horrible practice which is fast becoming the industry standard.

I was also initially optimistic but that soon went downhill with the amazing ONE game bundle of The Banner Saga.

Strictly speaking that particular one was 2 games, Banner Saga and Banner Saga: Factions :)

I didn't count the other one because it was just a starter pack for a game that is free to play, so I will standby what I said not that actually having two games is any better, just look at the current Crusaders bundle. :)

Mentioning EA alone is advocating piracy, I heard many were totally upset upon what become of Mass Effect 3 and how its true ending needs you to buy extra DLC. Just pirate them, EA deserves nothing from you.

On a side note SR3 had a limited time dlc called childs play pack no longer available to buy directly from Steam, but maybe still available on Humble Store and traders.

It's actually for Saints Row IV and is still available via Amazon and Humble Store.

Um, if you mean the extended ending, that was free. Don't advocate piracy... and particularly not based on stuff you are/might be wrong about.
