amok: have you tried Tower of Guns yet? you may like one of the items you can find there.
avatar
JMich: Not yet, and probably not in the foreseeable future.
Oh well... you should....

Anyway, if interested - you may find the item in here also: http://tower-of-guns.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Items
So apparently these are DRM'ed Steam only daily bundles. Well i guess my money is safe.

OldFatGuy: But I also know it gets damned old. I know this because I'm goddamned good and tired of reading the tired fucking excuses for it myself. So despite my overall love for this forum, this will be my last post since I know I've become a "buzz kill" for pointing out things that most would rather not have pointed out.
I hope with last post you don't mean that you plan to leave the forum. It's sad to see people leave, because they get downrepped for speaking out what they think it's right (even if I sometimes don't agree). Everybody should be allowed to tell his/her point of view as long as it happens in a civilized way.

I never use the downrep button except for clear spam or extremely abusive posts (which are extremely rare).
Which part of this bundle is supposed to make it an attractive deal? Am I missing some small print?

OldFatGuy: I ABSOLUTELY, 100% GUARANTEE YOU, that if every bundle HB (or anyone else) sold with separate keys sold well and those that sold without separate keys didn't, it wouldn't be long before all bundles sold with separate keys. That's the way it works. Consumers demand, suppliers respond.
That's not the way it works. Consumers can't provide positive feedback, because they're greedy. Let's imagine this bundle before Humble Bundle started activating games directly on Steam (which I think is how it originally sold). Suppose people didn't buy any bundle with keys for groups of game, and Deep Silver could only sell this as separate keys. Yes, it would have sold well. It would have sold well because a lot of key resellers would have picked it, and later sold the keys at 1000% profit, while still undercutting future sales which make money for Deep Silver. So the logical conclusion would have been not to offer the bundle at all.

It's probably better these days, with the new activation method, and possibly demanding separate keys these days would work better, but still, those consumer demands even in towards very low cost bundles feel like pure greed, and experiments like true "pay what you want" bundles show how going too much in the direction of what consumers want is not sustainable.

Now back to our regular programme.

For me, it was the art collection which turned out to be rather... disappointing.

Maybe tomorrow will reverse the downward slide these bundles have been on for the first three days.
So essentially we have a bundle of useless stuff that nobody can make any use of, and a game - in Steam key-only form no less - that is likely to be half that price two months from now on Steam.

To be honest, I found myself rather disappointed at the Steam-only rebundles, but I really did not think the quality could sink this low.
It's kinda hard to call that a bundle. I know the definitions can be stretched, but if this was Scattergories HB was out.
I had to laugh when I first saw this bundle. "Pay what you want for the Banner Saga... except you have to pay at least $15, and there is no other game included".

Indeed. At first I was thinking "Great! I'll nab the single player game only, because I don't care about the other stuff". Then I see it's 15 bucks for the game and I get all the other stuff I don't care about - and the game's tied to Steam. Dafuq!? O_o

I'll wait for a sale here on GOG.
Let me get this straight.. "variations" is a 10 dollar dlc that just adds shirt colors?

I hope this means the daily bundles can only get better from here.
