Ha ha!, OK, thanks for letting me know.

keeveek: Guys, I'm just asking... Why are you acting like Humble accounts were introduced yesterday...?
Maybe the OP just found out? I don't know, and I don't think it's bad commenting it now. I least I know they were introduced some weeks ago.

That's puzzling me as well, to be honest; earliest mention of the emerging Humble Store I could find on this forum is from . But if this is news to someone, I'd recommend checking out [url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/humble_store/page1]this thread for a list of games (your account includes purchases from the Humble Store widget and the Humble Bundles).
On that matter, the Humble "store" is by far the best source of indies on the net. Biggest cut for devs, varied payment options, Dollar prices across the globe, best platform support, Steam-keys, torrents. Just perfect.

Ok, I thought maybe I was the chosen one to have it earlier or something like that :D

and I second SimonG - when I look for indies I more and more often check out if there's humble store option. Usually I will get my steam or desura key anyway, but the dev will get more money they need.

Just asking: if you knew about it already, why did you keep it a secret?

I thought it was secret de polichinelle , that everybody knows about, but everybody's acting like it doesn't exist :P
I had no idea until now that HIB has an account, so thanks. That's indeed a useful way to discover all the games I never knew I had. :) For example Jamestown and BIT.TRIP Runner are in the current over the average bundle, but apparently were in previous ones, which I didn't remember.

Not to mention there was a thread/posts about it on this very forum and IRC they also sent an e-mail about it.
BAM.

Indeed. More should jump on the wagon to distribute the game files via torrents, should put off some load on the HTTP(s) servers.
Neat. I remember hearing about the account in the past, but forgot all about it. Thanks for reminding me, now I can finally play those small games that never got a steam & desura code, but I was too lazy to dig up the emails for (or which I had simply forgot about)
I didn't know about this until just now... and I'm so happy right now! This needed to happen... Indie Royale's account system is so much nicer to deal with.

From a consumer standpoint, if they don't have sales like other stores do then they aren't the best If you want a game new or don't want to wait for a sale, check with them. Otherwise we'll see if they have a sale this winter/christmas like everyone else does.

Well, sort of. Indie games tend to be so cheap by default, that I think there's less incentive to wait for mega sales (plus a lot of people are willing to pay more to support indie developers compared to big companies). I am curious if they'll do sales though.

I think individual devs who use the Humble store hold their own sales from time to time, but since there isn't a centralized site you wouldn't really know about it unless you were checking the dev sites.
