Metro09: Something is always better than nothing.
Actually that is not entirely correct. There are cost they have to pay for each transaction thru each payment medhod in addition to bandwidh cost. Both may be small but they exist so paying 0.01$ for the bundle will actually end up costing the organisers small amount of money (but it acumulates with tens of thousands of purchases). This is why other similar offers usually limit the minimium payment to 1$ in order to cover their own costs.
If anyone wants the Desura key let me know.

Well I was assuming you were talking about doing $5 or something and not under a buck.

cogadh: To be fair, the game is an unfinished abandoned project,

Wishbone: I'm sorry, what? Abandoned? I was not aware of that. Also, I find it... odd, to say the least, to include something like that in the bundle.
It is stated quite clearly on the main bundle page that it is an abandoned project only included as a bonus.

Still, pointing to game's page that states that support for other OS's and pads is coming is slightly misleading and main reason for the confusion. They should have at least removed those from the page if they're not going to make them.

That said, I still find it strange that that should be the only option. If I was developing a new game, I certainly wouldn't restrict the control options to a 360 controller, even if I owned one. It seems to me that should take more work to do than making the control scheme generic. But maybe it's made using XNA? I reckon M$ might have made the 360 controller an integrated part of that framework. I've never used it, so I don't know, but it seems like something they might do.
Adding the 360 controller to a game is almost trivial if they're already using direct X. That's why so many games have it as the only gamepad option, it's just too easy to implement.

It is coming.

From the press release:

Jack Claw, a never before seen action game prototype from 2006-2008 (Windows-only but there's source code available and a Linux/Mac port will be released soon)

We will be releasing more info on both games in a while - there's a lot of "story" to Jack Claw, it was supposed to be this big-budget multiplatform game for next-gen consoles and PC, but publishers didn't want to take the risk. We touched upon this situation a bit in our Trine postmortem on Gamasutra ( http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/5826/postmortem_frozenbytes_trine.php ).

yeah for prototyping theres no point using any other scheme it takes seconds to implement and no having to do custom code
Well that was an easy decision. Don't have any of those games yet and been wanting to play Trine for a while now.
I own and love Trine and Shadowgrounds, Survivor was ok but not as good as the original.

Jack Claw is basically a tech demo, and as was mentioned there's not enough info on Splot, so I think I'll pass on this one.

But if anyone doesn't have Trine or the Shadowgrounds games, you should definitely jump on this chance!
They're already past $230,000 after just half a day.

Edit: Ooops~

FTFY
Sucks that I can't specify the amount I want to give to charity, the developers, as a tip, ect.

Have to deal with those annoying bars...
Yeah, I will buy these, I always try to support efforts to release DRM free games. . . got an email from them earlier today . . .=)
