Is it possible to remove games from the "games I own" book shelf?
This question / problem has been solved by Oisimage
Why do you want to do that? You could always e-mail GOG... I guess.
You can't really, as the game is tied to your account and would become inaccessible if you did so.
Although... Occasionally the shelf will glitch, if you move stuff around quick, one item will overlap another, instead of swapping. If you want to grab the hidden game, just move the top one. This *may* of been fixed by now.
Have you bought duke nukem 3d and are now embarassed at how lame it is?

I did that with Shattered Steel. Thinking "hey, I've never tried it, it's got multiplayer, is cheap, and may be fun to LAN with" - but no.
Duke, at least, is cool to have on the shelf.
I feel the same way with Megarace 3. I wish I could get rid of that abomination and get the $3 I paid for it back. A chocolate milkshake and a double cheesburger from McDonald's would have been more satisfying.
Yeah, I feel like this with In Cold Blood. Worst $5.99 I spent.
TOCA3 was the worst game I'd ever bought from GOG - and this is me being generally happy with all my purchases.
I'd assume if any, one would want to remove the free games as that doesn't lose you anything really.
A hide option would be nice I suppose. I wouldn't have Stonekeek occupy a space on my real shelf either.
EDIT: right now I just place the games I don't like on the bottom of my shelves.

I can't figure out how to get a game off my wishlist, but since this question has been answered already, maybe I could avoid posting a whole new thread for an answer to that.

To remove game from a wish list just check the check box on the left and choose "remove selected"
Ouch, now I feel stupid. That button is BIG!
Thanks... uh... +1 for you? You don't even need it! :)

No prob and thx :) We are here to help.
It seems kind of pointless to be able to remove a game you paid for. Most people don't look at their GOG collection every day, so you'll only have to regret wasting your hard earned dough occasionally.
