Scrubs.

I mean it ended god knows how long ago and ive just discovered it. Maybe i ought to get the boxset.

Anyway blog-GOG just thought id say.
The first season is pretty damn good, but either it gets worse or I got tired of the formula. I love the visual metaphors, like when a ton of bricks falls on JD.

Other amazing comedies to watch you may not have heard of or actually watched:

Adventure Time (animated)
Arrested Development
The Boondocks (animated)
Bored to Death (not as amazing as everything else on this list, but I liked it quite a lot anyway)
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Extras
Freaks and Geeks (high school) (a bit different, worth trying though)
Home Movies
King of the Hill (animated)
The Office (BBC) (brutal deadpan mockumentary)
Peep Show
Ren & Stimpy (animated)
Spaced

EDIT: added shows

I've only seen two episodes and one was the Wonder Woman lasso episode, which I understand was one of their best. While I thought a few parts in that one were funny, the others fell flat for me. If you haven't seen Arrested Development, you might want to try that one out first.
On a seperate not we should have a general shite forum alongside the general one
Hmmm Dr Mahony. Id give her a rough night, as ofter as i could.

I have the first six seasons on DVD and those are pretty much the only DVDs I own.

Still looking for season 7 and will eventually get 8 too but I think it's back on again now with a new cast of actors.

*spoiler removed* and they've both taken the position that JD's mentor had.
The show now mostly focuses on the new actors whom have come in as interns.

Have you not noticed all the "can we have _____ game please?" threads? This forum serves both purposes.

Spaced???
Final season of Scrubs had just found its feet and then got canned it seems :/

You've never seen Spaced? It is a somewhat surreal comedy that also benefits from being British. If you've ever seen Hot Fuzz or Shawn of the Dead then Spaced is where that all began.
I believe Netflix has a few seasons of Scrubs added for streaming so far.

Netflix is awesome, I run out of crap I even give a crap about getting on disc a lot, but I always have at least 200 things to watch in my instant queue.
