I want to buy as a gift a game but it says game owned and doesn't let me to add it to the cart.

Did you try clicking the link "gift this game to a friend"?

There is an option on the upper right side of the game page allowing you to purchase as a gift. Its just under where it says redownload.

Then just go to the checkout and the box saying gift will be forced with you already owning it, just put your email address in and it will email you the code, the code will also be under gifts tab at the top of your shelf, if you click it then it will show you the code. Then just PM the code to the person you want to gift.

No, I went to the specials page (for today) and the option wasn't there. But yes, if I go to the page of the game I can get it through there. Thank you very much.

yeah, I didn't think of going to the page of the game and just tried the specials page. Thanks.

Ah, right. Yeah, the promo pages (usually?) only have the option to gift the whole pack.
