Any suggestions? I saw a whole lot of them, and I'm looking for a few more to watch next. Any recommendation would be highly appreciated.

Thanks, tritone! I already saw Polanski's The Tenant, and think it can hardly be considered a horror b-movie... it's more of a low budget psychological thriller.

The Changeling, though, seems quite nice. Adding it to my watch list as of now.

Cannibal Holocaust, From Beyond, Re-Animator, The Untold Story, Street Trash, and The Burning, just off the top of my head.

Dario Argento's Phenomena Human totally ripped this off for the Clock Tower games awesome movie by the way.Games are some of my favorite. Also you can't go wrong with the Evil Dead Trilogy.

Toolbox Murders (1978) is good sleazy fun.

The Orphanage is a spanish horror masterpiece.

The Asphyx (on Netflix) is a great british horror film.

Night of the Creeps is a worthy sci-fi/horror homage with Tom Akins.

Wild Zero is a crazy japanese rock'n roll zombie film that's much fun.

In A Glass Cage is an intense psychological art-house horror film.

May (2002) is a creepy character driven film lead by the intense A. Bettis.

Bug (2006) is Exorcist director William's Friedkin's over-looked gem.

Night of the Demons 2 is a fun party horror film.

Ginger Snaps is a good Canadian modern werewolf film, but it might be harder to come by a proper widescreen aspect ration edition.

Definitely look into Jean Rollin's films, they're stylistic with sweeping imagery but they might not be for everyone (visuals are surreal but plot sloppy at times). I recommend starting with Grapes of Death or Fascination.

Check out Paul Naschy's werewolf films (Night of the Werewolf!) or some of Jess Franco's euro-sleaze material (i.e. Exorcism, 1974).

Very -- and I mean VERY -- hard to come by, but once you do, it'll be worth it. Requires a lot of internet digging, though, and you'll probably have to resort to... "less than legal" means. Also, not to be confused with the stellar game of the same name (Sanitarium, which you should go buy and play, if you haven't already).

[EDIT] undeadcow, of all the movies you mentioned, the only ones I know are May, The Orphanage/El Orfanato and Bug (which, unfortunately, I lent to my ex-girlfriend, we're not talking anymore, so I'll never get it again). Thank you for such an extensive list.

I Always considered the hellraiser movies b-movies. I love them so i don't mean that as a negative ;)

I absolutely *love* b-movies. And c-movies. And z-movies. And, yes, I also think of the Hellraiser series as b-movie material, though I only really like two of them.

Came in with every intention of recommending Cemetary Man and it was mentioned in the first post, no less. A great movie all the same. I'll throw out Dagon, Dog Soldiers, and Event Horizon on the off chance you haven't seen them. I loved the first two segments; not so much the third... and the bookend really put me off. The first, however, while not an actual adaptation of any of his stories, if I recall correctly ( I haven;t seen it in some 10-15 years), reminded me greatly of The Rats in the Walls, my favorite Lovecraft story. The second was a fine retelling of Cold Air. Thanks for the memories.

The most scary movie that I saw was one with a giant killer octopus/squid, but I don't recall its name. I couldn't sleep the whole night.
I saw it before 1994, so probably the movie it's from the '80s.

The movie has a scene in which a man runs into a car graveyard and manage to go away with a car, but then the tentacles from above the car kill him.
There is also a scene where little kids pick up eastern eggs hidden in a garden, and a tentacle is visible in the sewerage but nobody is harmed.
A man is grabed by tentacles underneath a garrage door and later parts of his body are discovered.
The action takes part in a inland town (no sea or river as I remember).

If somebody could tell me the name of the movie I'll be very happy. Sorry for derailing the thread.
