It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Look in the game's directory (usually under Program Files\GOG\yourgamenamehere.

The ini and other files are text files. They contain commands that make the game run this way or that way. You can change the info in them so your game runs better.

Open them up using the windows accessory called notepad. It comes free with Windows, so you've already got it. Fiddle around in each file as the other post directed. Be really careful not to do anything like add extra spaces into your lines anywhere. Then save the file with your new changes, under the same name.

Most games have little things you can access like this to make things work a bit differently.

Also the name of the file will be like for example: master of magic mom.ini or M.A.X. 1 will be max.ini. If you have the extension hidden on type it will say configuration file. It sounds tricky at first but you will learn to tweek dosbox like a boss in no time. I had no idea at first also.

Zurnagos: Could you make a guide for dummies? Since I'm totally green at that stuff, and I don't get anything of what you're saying :p
Go to you Homm2 folder, make a copy of your dosboxhomm2.conf (ie: rename it to something else), download this and stuff it in there instead.
If something doesn't work, either open the file in notepad and play with the values or pussy out, delete it and rename the original dosboxhomm2.conf back to "dosboxhomm2.conf" ;P.
