A moment of silence, please.
Umm.... duh?
I knew that the site was canned when she last updated the blog in 2006, and that I couldn't use it anymore.
Abandonia FTW.
It's been dead since 2005. No updates came, and there was absolutely no news from the owner.
"Not updated" is markedly different from "all content being lost".
This is a sad day. I too used to frequent HotU. It was a great source of inspiration for finding new games to try out. In fact, the entire HotU catalog belongs on the GOG wishlist.
I called my place "Home Of The Unimpressed"
Well, HotU's been in a coma for a long time already, I guess just now someone pulled the life support plug.
RIP.
Too bad, even though the site wasn't updated for years, the forum was still active with lists of good games that you can look out for on the Internet
Rest

HOTU
It is sad to ee it go. Was great for looking at old classics that tyou couldnt find information on anywhere else. Seems like an end of an era.

Damn that sucks, even inactive it was one of the best sites on the net
Great way to boost rep: a thread in which you can legitimately post something with no content whatsoever.
Also, even if HoTU has been scrapped by its owner since 2006, it has still been possible to download many of the games on the site. Now though it seems to be gone entirely.
What's with all the empty posts?
