General's Bundle of Tactics and Strategy

Today's bundle requires tactical thinking, planning, quick decision-making, and often fast-clicking fingers. Whether you're a marshal in the field of strategy gaming, or just a young adept of video-game tactics, you'll find plenty of challenges and surprises in today's [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/defend___conquer_bundle]Defend & Conquer Bundle--7 great indie games for less than $18. All games in this bundle will be 75% off when you buy all games (or if you own some of them and complete the bundle), or 50% off individual games if you buy them separately.

Defender's Quest is a brilliant mix of RPG and tower defense. This game is to tower defense games as Puzzle Quest is to the match three genre. That may sound like an odd mix, but you should definitely try it your self, so, try the demo, and see how brilliantly it plays. Once you fall in love with you characters, your Tuesday may suddenly grind to an unproductive halt. Only today, you can pick up Defender's Quest, for as low as $3.74.

, [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/multiwinia]Multiwinia, , and [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/defcon]DEFCON will cost you $6 altogether and grant you dozens, if not hundreds of hours of high-quality indie entertainment. These great Introversion classics are all fantastic choices, starting with the unconventional, quirky, but extra-addictive RTS Darwinia and its multiplayer focused (but not multiplayer-only) sequel Multiwinia, following with thermonuclear war simulator DEFCON, and finishing with Uplink: Hacker Elite, the visually simple but surprisingly deep hacker simulator in a cyberpunk setting, Introversion Software offers stylish games with exquisitly challenging gameplay for a really low price. You should buy those now, when they're 75% off in Defend & Conquer Bundle.

Spacechem, described as "one of the year's best indie games" by Rock, Paper, Shotgun, is a proof that "fake chemistry"-based puzzle games can be both challenging and incredibly fun. Wake up your inner Reactor Engineer and get a little bit closer to that Chemistry Nobel prize you've always dreamed of.

Anomaly Warzone Earthis a unique genre. They call it a "reverse tower defense" game, or a "tower offense," since you guide a team of heavily-armored and weaponized vehicles through an alien-infested maze. It’s up to you to manage your scarce resources, install upgrades, apply repair kits, and make sure that the human forces complete their objectives. Launch a perfect attack on alien towers, now even 75% off on GOG.com.
All of these games bundle up together for less than $18--and be sure you don't miss out on our 4th Annual Screenshot Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win one of 10 different game bundles. :)
I have none of this, quite the bundle for $17.00. I may have to splurge today.

KarmaTV: Newspost says "less then 15$", but It says 17,68$ on check-out and on main page.

Asbeau: Yeah, this is a mistake, surely?

Although to be honest I find this bundle concept a bit weird. Isn't it odd that 4 games costs more than 7?
I agree. It was novel the first time, but I personally have no interest in buying games I don't intend to play. Its strange that that makes my game purchases more expensive
Defender's Quest got a great reception when it released here, I might buy it even though tower defense isn't my kinda thing.
Dear, lovely, generous, remarkably handsome GOG staff.

Please allow me to buy *only* Defender's Quest at 75% off. If you do, I love you more than I already do, forever, you will be 73.5% cooler and I'll give you a whole basket of delicious internet cookies.

Yours humbly, faithfully and sincerely,

lukew
Can't say I'm particularly fond of these 75% off for all games or 50% otherwise deals.

As someone else said: there should be at least some incentive for the person only interested in one or two games surely.

Good deal for those who don't have most of these already though. Just a shame that I'll probably be skipping on the two I was interested in. Hope that these deals get better.
Damn it! I completely lost Day 6! And I woke up early in the morning!

But this bundle is pretty good too Darwinia, Uplink and Defcon are brilliant games...

I wonder if the same "Holiday Sale Day 6 Quest For Series Bundle" would be available for the next sales period...

Oh, well...

CoreySteel: Hey guys, one question.

Is it possible to buy whole bundle, but only gift one game out of it?

Thank you for your answer.
avatar
JMich: If you redeem a gift code which contains games you already own, any games you don't have yet will be added to your account, and the other will remain on the code. If you own no games, then you can either redeem all or none unfortunately.
Thank you JMich for your answer.
I'm actually interested in 5 out of 7 games. As it looks like I will have to buy the whole bundle, because it's cheaper than buying only those 5 games :)
Easy deal ;) I wanted to pick Defender's Quest for some time and the other game I don't have is Anomaly Warzone Earth. Buying them together will cost me 6.23$ while it would be 7.49$ for Defender's Quest only. Very easy deal ;) Even if don't like Anomaly Warzone Earth (low probability scenario) I still save some money. Very, very easy deal ;)

Dear lukew

I'm afraid that there is no one working here who matches your description.

We are therefore unable to fulfil your request.

Yours apologetically,
Malicious, miserly, grotesque GOG staff.
I've been constantly evading these attacks on my wallet because I'm usually interested in only two on a bundle that I'm not planning to get at 50% off. Today however, I'm finding it really hard to resist. I already own 2 of these and would like 3 other games. Which makes it cheaper just to grab the whole pack.

Gaaah what to do, what to do?

Not really a huge fan myself, but.............I just think it's impossible to complain :)

I mean, come on, just about every game on GOG is pretty darned awesome and the majority are now selling for $2.99 for THREE WEEKS. $2.99, that's not even the price of a latte in any developed country (okay, I can get 3 lattes for that price, but it's still cheap :)

So, no, not complaining, especially if some people do grab the whole bundles. Great price for them and good for GOG.

Meanwhile, I just grabbed another $2.99 game and will be putting it up on my website as a giveaway hopefully in the next few minutes. At these prices, who can resist :)

Gazoinks: Argh, I already have all of these but Anomaly and Defender's Quest from HiBs and I'm only interested in Defender's Quest, but 50% off isn't really enough for me at the moment. Ah well, good deal for anyone who doesn't already own most of these.

kalirion: Yeah, these 75%/50% bundles are a real miss. The Bullfrog one was good because the games were pretty much GOG exclusive, for the rest? Like you, I only need Defender's Quest as I own all the rest on Steam. Well I do have Spacechem on GOG somehow - maybe it was in that 5 for $10 deal? Pretty sure I didn't pick it up on the indiegamestand sale.
Yeah, I really dislike these 75/50 sales. I would've picked up something from one of the other days, but nothing so far due to these sales.

muttly13: I myself have zero interest in Defenders Quest but would like to check out the others. I assume there is no way to split up the key codes right? If there is, happy to give you the DQ code.
No. Unless you own DQ and gift the code to yourself in which case all the other games will activate but DQ will stay in the code due to you already owning it. I appreciate the offer, but if you were able to do that I'd encourage you to give it someone with no money. I've already bought a fair amount of games this sale (and from non-GOG places). :)

jamsatle: Legacy of Kain:
"Get this and other great Square Enix titles at 50% off until 19 December at 14:59 GMT"
avatar
haydenaurion: How do I figure out what time that would be in US Eastern time? I tried using a converter online to figure out another time, but I think it gave me the wrong time.
Well GMT is an offset of 0, so all you need to do is know what offset your timezone is (kind of surprised you don't, despite living in it).
50% off a bunch of games with all but one having been in a Humble Bundle and 75% off plenty of times on other sites.
