Licurg, I really missed you. Nice to have you back...

At Socorro, HOAE will be on sale some other day, just be patient. Enjoy the free games you get for signing up here. Buy sacrifice, or alpha centauri or master of orion 2 or ... to keep you busy.

Anyway it's always better to have a DRM-Free version of a game instead one that needs Steam or another client in my opinion.

Ahhh, you know I'm just getting a tad nostalgic and missed your "buy sacrifice" stance.

It's good to know that some things never change, even at our gog forums...

Sure it is much better. But those 5,00 off just sound great.

I cant guarantee it as im not staff. GOG have been know to honor prices if there has been a problem with the transaction, it isnt certain and I think they need proof that you tried to get it during a sale but you might get lucky, Just dont take this a "they will" just that they MIGHT

NAh, it won't kill me to pay the additional 5,00. it would have been nice to buy something else for that money though.

You can try a credit card, I just checked my checkout options and they have VISA / MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS as possible payment methods.

I know in Germany you don't need credit cards to survive in our hot urban jungle but most people have one nonetheless.

I don't take American Express! They never fucking pay you!
GOG>Steam

I know paypal has that option but i don't have a credit card xD. Yeh, it's easy to survive without one in germany. And Gog does not sell cut games does it? I mean to germany? I hate HATE the Bundesprüfstelle für Jugendgefährdende Medien...
No, they aren't cut. As far as I know, if they are cut they are cut for everyone.
It's not <insert random pejorative adjective> Steam here. Bundesprüfstelle für Jugendgefährdende Medien isn't the culprit, it's actually not their entire fault. Its those <insert another random pejorative adjective> people who don't know the difference between German Index List A and the other Lists. People who don't checking your age and treating every gamer in Germany like some 5 years old.

So now you have one Mission: Find someone who has a credit card or maybe, maybe if you are very nice to the GOG support they might help you out by giving you the low price after you set up your paypal account.

Well, we sell German-style censored games, at least one that I know of. See System Shock 2 the German version that comes with the yellow blood. But you do get access to the English uncut version as well, if that's any consolation.

I also hear that there are ways to make the blood red in the German version of System Shock 2 but I have no idea how to go about that :D

Where? OMG!
I remember my first time seeing blue letters on screen at gog. I thought my Monitor had failed me.
