bevinator: You can't even really smoke it, so why does anybody care?
Magic brownies. The junk food manufacturers really need to start lobbying to legalize it. The health-conscious community is against them, and the amount of snacks potheads would scarf up will be even more lucrative than the pot itself.
Betty Crocker Magic Brownie mix...they would not be able to keep that box in stock.

TStael: For this, I accuse of drug users being inhumanly selfish, even.

hedwards: One of the issues with pot is that there's so much bullshit out there. But, I tend to trust the prohibitionists somewhat more, because it's clear that there are negative health effects, even if the prohibitionists tend to overstate it. Listening to potheads go on and on about how harmless pot is, is enough to keep me convinced that we shouldn't be legalizing it at this stage.

If further research justifies legalization, then legalize. But, as long as the people pushing for legalization refuse to admit that cannabis addiction is real, I'm not going to be supporting them.
Possibly I am opening a can of worms, but... to me is really about not accepting death to be natural, and thanks to the advances of science that keeps us alive, sometimes even desirable. I know now of a +80 and +5 year old terminal sufferer, and both should go out in dignity and without pain.

Really, if I myself should find myself going demented at my later years, I really hope I have both the courage and opportunity to do myself in with an overdose of morphine.

I am not sure of the either, for the record.

I do personally think that regarding weed, before most of the world can find a more purposeful occupation than drug growing, it will be a difficult cycle to break.
