Actually never mind... I only play trumpet because for some reason I chose that over percussion (maybe cause I was insane) for our school marching band.

If you never touched a guitar before, you might want to get a classical acoustic, the nylon strings will be a blessing for your fingers, they are WAY softer than the metal ones.
I got a metal-stringed guitar, huge calluses and after 7 months it still hurts when playing 20-30 minutes.
You *can* put nylon strings on a normal acoustic (not classical) with a bit of improvisation and you might want it for the tighter neck.
