Hi guys, for some reason lately my brain has decided to remember a certain game I used to play as a kid, but I don't remember its name. It was a first-person 3D shooter, for DOS probably, much like Doom. I don't remember much about it, but I have the distinctive feeling that it was (or at least one of its earliest levels) themed around a carnival from hell, possibly with demonic clowns and stuff. I remember it as being very very gory and dark. I can't really say much else.

I know it's vague but please try to help me.

Inb4 "Heretic", no, it's not that game :P The game I'm looking for is set in modern times, it had double-barreled shotguns I believe, whereas Heretic is fantasy and doesn't have a carnival.

You're welcome:) That thing about the clowns you're talking about - That's an entire level called "Carnival of Souls". Remember we have both Blood games here on GOG :P

My first thought was KISS: Psycho Circus, but that's a 2000 windows game, so probably not the one you're looking for?

EDIT: Oh, ok, solved already. :)

Killing Time also had a level with clowns in, not the game OP wanted but still highly recommended to people who like 3D shooters like Doom.

It came out on Mac/PC and 3DO, i think the 3DO version is slightly different and to some the better version though the PC looks crisper and runs smoother/faster, really wish GOG gets Killing Time on here for PC.

I started twitching with memories of the Painkiller Black clowns . . . =)
