If you're into RTS, Perimeter is one of the best. Plus it's got a very different style to most other of its genre.

My mistake, I thought the list was meant to be games you were considering...not every $9.99 GOG you didn't already have. :-p

You should give Empire Earth 2 a try, it's pretty good.

Otherwise I'd snag one of the D&D ones, honestly. I actually grabbed Battle Isle Platinum for my freebie (I had all the RPGs included in the pre-order, so they comped me a game of my choosing), it's not a bad choice either.

i take back on recommending, farcry just played it for a while and meh..certainly there are better games in that list i could recommend. If you wish to spend a while playing a game go for Syberia series, its a good adventure game and has its challenges
or else i would still say ut goty is awesome, even if you dont play online , the bots provide a great challenge

Ok, I will count one vote by everyone per recommended game, and what has most votes by midnight will be taken. My asterisks also give one vote each.

Why don't you give Space Rangers 2 a try? it's got a little bit of everything: text adventure, RTS, turn-based ship to ship combat, trading, huge open universe/world. I am sure there is a demo floating around somewhere.

two worlds for the win if you feel you want to play a game with humour dialogs, a lot of exploring, nice loots, item upgrades, using magic spells or summoning and a lot of fighting action.
Its an rpg where you are alone, with no party members - except summons, and you basically get involved into that role the game gives you.

Space Rangers 2
I think you would have a blast with this game, I know I have. It has tons of cool minigames, even an RTS one with giant robots blowing eachother up, and its as fun as it sounds! :) Plus it even has some text based adventures that are actually fun to play...Not to mention the space combat, with loot, and the amount of ships and equipment you can buy. If you got Space Rangers 2, you'd probably have over a hundred hours of enjoyment there =D. Hope you get a good one, whatever you end up getting.

If you want real value for your money, I'd recommend both Darkstar One and Soldiers. Both are huge and quite great.
Sanitarium is also absolutely wonderful and a must play.

I come to the final conclusion, hoping nobody double posted:
Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic - 1
Another World - 1
Battle Isle Platinum - 3
Broken Sword 1 or 2 - 1
(D&D game) - 1
Dark Reign - 1
Darkstar One - 1
Empire Earth 2 - 2
FarCry - 1
Perimeter - 1
Sanitarium - 3
Second Sight - 1
Soldiers - 1
Space Rangers 2 - 2
Still Life - 2
Syberia - 1
Tex Murphy - 2
Two Worlds - 5
UT GOTY - 5
And the winner is:
Two Worlds
(since I have the Unreal Series already, but I guess I will get UT GOTY at some point)
Space Rangers 2 also sounds great from the description. Might take that for the promo code. Maybe.
Thanks to everyone who posted! You all get a free rep from me as reward!
