Hi guys,

thought i'd give this a shot. I'm looking for games that allow you to make comments/notes on the game map. like writing text on the game map.

the only games that i can think of where you can do it are:

-Divine Divinity
-Ultima Underworld

doesnt matter if old if new, if mainstream or indie.

do you guys know of more games that let you do that? i want them all! i have a map marking fetish! :P

On an in-game map? Uh, there's a series for the DS that lets you do that. They're called the Etrian Odyssey games. I always found Myst and its successors very entertaining because of the maps and huge volumes of notes you had to take (that's not in game, though - I kept a fairly detailed journal last time I played them).

Other than that? Hmm, Morrowind would let you put notes on your map. I'm afraid that pushes the limits of my memory for map marking.

Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale 2, Temple of Elemental evil

in these games you may place dots on a map and leave a short note

zelda games on the DS.

Oh, you can do that in NWN? Huh...I never knew.

If I'm not remembering it wrongly, you can do that in Daggerfall and Arena.

wow, you can do it in baldurs gate? wow, i really have a reason to play that game then. i got it off of gog, but havent played it yet.

almost sounds like DS is the place for writeable map gameplay. i dont have one though hehehe

I think it's the only useful thing anyone's come up with for the touchscreen xD
