So its another thread to help me remember a game.
I never played the full version i only ever played a demo on one of those "100000000000 GAMES IN ONE PACKAGE!!!" which were basically 2 games and a crap load of demos. Which was ok cause i found some cool games in there. I don't remember the package name, it had a logo of a planet with rings i think. But it was a 2 disc set.
The specific game was an adventure, and from what i can recall from the title was "Mad Dog McGee" or something to that effect. No not the FMV shooter piece of lameness. I remember starting in a house, you'd walk around the town and outside of town. In one corner there was a cave where a girl was being sacrificed or something and the demo didn't let you cross the bridge on the left side of the map. I seem to remember a bar, and the bartender had some kind of automatic server which flung mugs down the bar.
I could be completely off when it comes to the title, perhaps i got a wire crossed over the years but the rest i remember pretty well. Perhaps someone can help.

It wouldn't be Freddy Pharkas frontier pharmacist would it?
Could it be "American Mcgee"? He's a game designer that's been around the block quite a bit, but the only games that have his name on it are:
* American McGee's Alice (2000)
* American McGee presents: Scrapland (2004)
* American McGee presents: Bad Day L.A. (2006)
* American McGee's Grimm (2008)
(swiped from wikipedia)
It sounds like it could be "The Adventures of Maddog Williams in the Dungeons of Duridian".
It's an adventure game from 1992 that's been released as freeware. I've only played it a little bit, but you do start off in a house.
You can download it here - http://www.gamecrafters.com/gamecrafters/maddog/index.html
I don't think I ever played that game, but I did have that exact demo collection. I wish I still had it.
