So, HG:L didn't fail enough hard for the first time?

I don't see it being any more successful the second time around either. I won't be playing it but . . . there were a lot of ppl who liked it and the Asian market may well be tailor made for HGL . . . who knows ?? . . . =)

For Asian market? That reminds me of Counter-Strike Online which was basically CS with microtransactions (and it was for Asia only).
In theory HG:L + microtransactions = game for Asian market?

Just make the game an insane grindfest and it's likely to hit home in Asia.

One thread I found was about guys in the US and Europe signing up for the Korean servers. Detailed instructions on how to do it. Seems they were required to have a number which was equivalent to a SS number here in the US. Also some tricky interface problems as well.

You could apply that to any game really, Asians are cheap asses who will take any craptacular game they can get for free, like Maple Story, and they're willing to pay tiny amounts to increase the size of their e-peen in these games to compensate for real life.
Then again, its better than the alternative of paying for MADDEN 00!, CALL OF DUTY: PLAY AS THE TERRORISTS!, GUITAR HERO: UKULELE EDITION!, WORLD OF WARCRAFT: WINGS OF LIBERTY!, BIOWARES LATEST DATING SIM!, PLUS DLC FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE!

Something says me, that these two games will come out anyways, since they are from Activision.
