It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I just bought Empire Earth: Gold and tried to download it, but whether I use the GOG downloader or my own, the result is the same: it gets to the end of the download (538 out of 538 MB downloaded) then pauses the download. If I attempt to resume, on GOG downloader it says that it cannot contact GOG servers, and in the basic downloader it says that it cannot access the source file. I cannot download the game.
Any suggestions? If not, I guess I have to contact the support, but I wanted to see if anyone had a problem like this and knew how to fix it.

have you contacted your ISP?
Try using your browser instead. The downloader was meant ,IIRC, to be an alternative and not THE only way to download GOGs.
Judas--I have tried using my browser, and I get the message that the source file cannot be found.
Wec--I haven't. We don't usually have a problem with large files, and this isn't a problem of size; there's some error at the end of the download.

Try to download some other game, one of the free ones, to see if you have the same problem.
There's always a chance something is not quite right with that specific file and you really need to contact support.
Alright, thanks, I'll give that a try.
What OS / Antivirus / Firewall are you using? How long have you left it, it MIGHT be virus checking the files
