If you like monkeys, you should watch this TV show.


But I should warn you. There is monkey violence in the show.

"Liking something" and "not wanting to see it hurt" usually goes hand in hand, so this show is likely aimed at people who like to see monkeys bleed, as it is prominently showcased by the trailer.

That said, let me grab my popcorn.

Monkeys fighting monkeys is natural. Not watching a TV show with monkeys fighting, won't make the monkeys stop fighting..

Doesn't mean I get enjoyment from watching animals getting hurt.

But you get a chance to look into their world. To better understand them, The 300 type stuff added in is tasteless for those who aren't the bloodthirsty but I like that the show, reveals a side of monkeys that a lot of documentaries don't.

When I want to see primates fight I just pop in that Clint Eastwood movie "Every Which Way But Sober" and watch his orangutan slap those stupid bikers around.

I was mostly joking around, but I must admit I have no idea why anyone would take issue with the trailer. I mean, the show is clearly one in the long line of new age documentary reality shows, where getting to know people and animals intimately via a series of edited filming footage masqueraded as raw and unedited showings of a reality big brother and which slowly getting on our collective nerves when thinking how natural geographic and discovery made great and informative shows in the past.
