I am reminded, for some reason, of a story I once heard. We have a lot of traffic light vendors here selling anything from car cellphone rechargers, sunglasses, coat hangers, USB disks and more. They walk in between the cars when the light is red trying to draw your attention. Once or twice I have noticed (i.e. very rarely) some of them selling booze. I recall this one guy once told his friends that he decided to buy two bottles of whiskey from one of these guys for a dirt cheap price. Turns out it was tea...

There are so many horrifically racist, and funny, comments I could make right now but I'll let this one go. :P

I'm not saying all products from China are terrible. I own many myself, and you will be hard pressed to find some pc hardware that is not made in China. If it is from a well known company then electrical standards are met, otherwise there are instances where they do bootleg known electronics and brands. Bootlegged iphone ac adaptors have been recorded as exploding and other issues. Some of it is due to the voltage differences between countries as well.

I hate when sellers try to guilt trip customers more than crotch rot.
