I have First Access Club membership, and decided to check the wallpapers. They updated the Duke Nukem Forever dated wallpaper I was using, that had the May date in the lower right. Obviously, the date is changed, but they made some subtle changes, the most noticeable is that it's lighter. :P
This isn't very surprising. However, it's probably for the best. If not for the fact that they may as well not rush out an incomplete product (if you can call it rushing...), I've heard some people saying there's just too good much stuff coming out in May, not the least of which is The Witcher 2 right here on GOG.
Even if money isn't a problem, or even finding time to play it all at once, they might as well find a moment where they'll have everyone's undivided attention (...though, being Duke Nukem Forever, I'd assume it's everybody else who would miss the attention). I'm personally happier Duke Nukem Forever and The Witcher 2 aren't coming out in the same month.
Though, I hate to say it, I'm not so impressed with Borderlands. It starts out as a blast, and it's a cool concept, but it gets repetitive and dull too quick, and the 5-time install limit, which is only on half of the DLC and not the other half or the main game, is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, the less DLC the better, I wouldn't want all the DLC and the main game to have install limits. I just don't see the point, and it's seems silly that they don't just get rid of it. Then again, I can't say I really see the point of DRM to begin with...
I know this is Duke Nukem Forever, I've been waiting just as long as everybody else, I too was there when Duke Nukem 3D was the biggest thing, and I loved it, but that's just it. They can sell the game on the name alone, I have to wonder if it'll be all that good. :/
