Titanium: I've spent a humiliating amount of hours on Hinterland, for some reason it's just so good. So that's one reason why I'd recommend this pack.

Sachys: one of the games im interested in. can you give me a better idea of what its like or compare it to some similar games please?
It's something between Dungeon Siege and a city builder. I'll go on a tangent and call it an action RPG where you build your own town to return to restock and rearm.

that does sound pretty good - even though I've not played dungeon siege im familiar with the idea!
cheers!
Bundle is live. First bonus goal is Gravi @ 1,000 bundles sold.
Well now. If this is an attempt to beat the ShinyLoot drum, it's working for me. I've been curious about the site for a while now, and while I already have a few of the games here, if the bundle actually comes with ShinyLoot keys, I'll certainly give it a crack. It's certainly the incentive I need to try out an interesting site that otherwise hasn't given me much cause to buy from there until now.

They had a "lots of games only $1 each" sale a week ago or so, that's what caused me to end up sampling their wares.
I've bought a couple of games at Shiny Loot and had problems with one of the downloads, but support was really helpful. So, I have a pretty good impression of the site and I'll be checking out the bundle.

Well, I'm certainly finding the site intriguing so far. I do like the way that it sets DRM-free as a minimum and applies Steam and Desura keys as a nice bonus, instead of the arse-about-face way that Humble Store does things.

The search engine is pure bliss. I love it.

As before though, the site really doesn't offer all that many - if any - "must have" games. There are some decent indie titles there, but nothing that hasn't done the bundle rounds already or isn't on GOG or Humble Store.

Be aware that the Creeper World games and Kingdom Elemental aren't tagged as DRM-free.

What kept me away from purchasing on ShinyLoot was the fact that they ask for my postal address on checkout. Why don't they request this info from PayPal? Too expensive or not trust-worthy enough?

Can't yet confirm Kingdom Elemental, but Creeper World only uses a local serial copy protection, i.e. you don't need to be online as long as you have the game and the key.

Kingdom Elemental also uses a serial key protection which is acceptable IMO.

In that case I really think they should find some way of differentiating between online activation and a simple CD key. "One Time Key Validation" seems to cover both scenarios for the moment and it made me skip several games during their recent sale.

Preemptive answer to the question "Where's my steam key?"

Considering that some people have some pretty big issues with Groupees DRM-Free downloads, I don't think it's such a bad idea.
ShinyLoot store has some DRM-free games I like, such as Gray Matter. It's a pity these games are not available here.

I created an account today. I didn't know about ShinyLoot before the Groupees' promo.
They should add SSL at least to account's pages though.

EDIT: I just bought Children of the Nile and Hinterland from Groupees' bundle. They both come in a .zip file. Groupees add just a redeemable code for each game to the user's account.
